Chariton River Labradors
NO PUPPY SHIPPING
We do NOT ship puppies. These are babies, and, in our opinion, babies do not belong in airline cargo compartments. There will be NO exceptions when it comes to our puppies.
There are NO REFUNDS on DEPOSITS, unless otherwise agreed here in writing. Failure of the Buyer to complete this purchase would subject Seller to lost opportunities to sell the puppy to some other Buyer and retention of the DEPOSIT is meant to compensate Seller for this possible loss. This DEPOSIT signifies the intent on the part of the Buyer to follow through with the purchase of this puppy.
Should some unforeseen tragic accident of the puppy (i.e. the puppy was to die or otherwise be seriously injured) before it goes to its new home, then, the deposit would be returned to the Buyer unless the Buyer wishes to apply the DEPOSIT to another puppy or one from the next available litter.
Part of the purchase price will be paid immediately with this Agreement as a $200 deposit to guarantee the Seller will hold the puppy for pick-up from the Buyer. The BALANCE DUE after crediting the deposit of $200 will be paid in CASH at the time of PICK-UP of the puppy. This purchase price does not include any DELIVERY CHARGE (if any) which is calculated seperately.
If the Buyer is not able to pick up the puppy on the stated pre-determined date, we will be glad to continue caring for your puppy for a reasonable time - LIMITED TO 14 DAYS (unless otherwise arranged) - but we will add a charge of $2 per day for boarding for each day after the scheduled pickup date. The Seller is also happy to personally deliver your puppy to their new home or to meet the Buyer at some agreed location in between. We charge .50 cents per mile times the roundtrip mileage we drive as a delivery charge. The mileage would be pre-determined via Mapquest.
The Seller, Chariton River Labradors, guarantees your puppy to be free from infectious diseases for 5 days after the puppy leaves our premises and guarantees the puppy to be free from genetic problems for up to 1 years of age. Hip and joint problems can be influenced by overfeeding, improper diet, failure to maintain proper weight, failure to provide sufficient exercise, over-exercising or improper exercising which would be out of our control.
Buyer agrees that he/she will take their puppy to their licensed veterinarian within 4 days of receiving the Puppy for examination, test for worms, treatment for worms and to schedule ongoing immunizations as recommended. Failure to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian with four days of the date the puppy leaves Chariton River Labradors premises or if Buyer fails to provide required immunizations, treatment or deworming, will mean that this health guarantee will be VOID.
Chariton River Labradors guarantees any puppy until one year of age regarding any congenital (born with) defects, should one arise. Records and diagnosis from a licensed vet will be required upon the return of the puppy. This one-year guarantee applies to the original buyer only and is non-transferrable. Chariton River Labradors will not be responsible for any vet expenses.
Chariton River Labradors has the right to require the puppy be returned for a diagnosis from our licensed vet prior to replacement. Upon confirmation of a congenital defect, the puppy will be replaced free of charge with a puppy of equal value and quality to the original purchase price. Chariton River Labradors is not responsible for any shipping and/or traveling expenses.
